Top trend tips for creating a space that will boost your mood

There's no place like home to make you feel relaxed and comfortable but it is not just being around your familiar and comforting belongings that make you feel happier – the interior design of your home can also significantly boost your wellness.

Top trend tips for creating a space that will boost your mood and enhance your sense of wellbeing.

1. Colour me happy

It's no secret that colour can have a massive effect on mood, and in 2018, the hues we choose will be at the centre of how we create home happiness.

To pick the best colours to create wellness in the home, here are the perfect mood-boosting shades for different rooms of the home…

Home office – Opt for accents of yellow to promote creativity and vitality or pops of Pantone's Colour of the Year, Ultra Violet, to promote empowerment.

Bedroom and bathroom – Green drives regeneration and renewal, making it a perfect hue for restorative spaces, like the bedroom and bathroom.

Living room – Bold bright hues including turquoise, fuchsia and tangerine are the tones which are set to energise the mood of our living rooms.

Accessories – Cushions, rugs, wall art and decorative accents in happy shades are all perfect picks, which create easy impact without breaking the bank.
