Oakwood Estates Sponsors of the Old Windsor Tigers

The U13’s Old Windsor Tiger Football Club played 5 friendly matches in the Venlo area in Holland where the U11’s will be going on tour this year. If you live in Old Windsor and the surrounding areas then the Tigers is a great family club to get involved with. The facilities these Dutch teams have is a step above a lot of the UK clubs however the U13’s manager to win 3 games, draw 1 and only lose 1. A fantastic achievement. St Peters Iver U16 Lionhearts Update

As we approach the end of the season let’s have a recap on the progress of the Oakwood Estates U16’s sponsored team.

On Saturday 21st March they played the second leg of their cup semi final winning 5-3 (6-4 on aggregate) to reach the final. This will be held at Harefield United on the afternoon of 9th May.

In the league they have one more game to play. Currently joint top, wins for those top 2 teams in their final match will mean a play off is required to determine the champions. St Peters are guaranteed at least 2nd place, but have hopes of becoming champions.

Overall a very satisfactory season.

The club continues to thrive with over 150 registered children across the age groups and of course the new clubhouse facilities at Richings Park are now open.
